About this opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Retail France, you will act as a true Brand Ambassador and be responsible for managing a network of approximately 30 distributors. Your role covers all aspects of business development, including showroom presentation, product selection, architect outreach, social media communication, events, and sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with distributors through regular visits and ongoing support.
- Driving sales performance and achieving revenue and brand development targets.
- Working with retailers’ internal team to select and optimize product displays in showrooms.
- Ensuring compliance with Knoll's visual identity and premium brand standards.
- Implementing the retail strategy within your territory and supporting new openings or showroom transformation projects.
- Training sales teams and promoting the brand to architects and design professionals.
- Monitoring business performance and implementing action plans in collaboration with management.
- Promoting a premium customer experience and consultative sales approach throughout the distributor network.
Candidate Profile
- Passionate about design and architecture.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing a premium distribution network or selling contemporary furniture within a showroom environment.
- A background in design, interior architecture, or a related field would be a strong advantage.
- Self‑motivated, autonomous, and results‑oriented.
- Proactive and able to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate partner teams.
- Comfortable working within an international brand environment and collaborating with experienced teams.
- Fluency in French. Professional level of English required; additional language would be a strong plus.
Location & Compensation
Position based in Paris. Frequent weekly travel within the assigned territory. 50 to 60% travel time. Competitive compensation package including a fixed salary and performance‑based bonus.
