Key Account Manager (Public Sector accounts)

About the Role

Alan is building a new standard in prevention insurance. We are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage our Public Sector accounts across France, Belgium, Spain, Canada, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of strategic public sector accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, keeping a customer‑centric focus.
• Identify potential dissatisfaction signals and implement solutions.
• Ensure successful onboarding of new accounts and promote Alan’s health partner positioning to drive adoption.
• Analyze and present consumption reports to customers through business reviews.
• Identify and execute out‑of‑the‑box initiatives to engage existing customers.
• Renegotiate contracts to guarantee value for customers and sustainable profitability.
• Participate in the evolution of products and services, acting as the voice of our customers with Product teams.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of customer‑facing experience interacting with C‑Levels.
• Full working proficiency in French (excellent oral and written communication).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Experience dealing with large public‑sector organizations and unions.
• Strong negotiation, lobbying, and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset, comfortable presenting deep data analysis and solving complex problems.
• Active listening skills and mastery of follow‑up communication.
• Growth mindset – ability to adapt to new trends and deepen understanding of the health‑insurance market.
• Based in Paris, Bordeaux, or Marseille, or willing to relocate.

Previous experience in insurance or benefits, and familiarity with the public sector, is a plus.
