Key Account Manager, Orange

Onsite – primarily work from an HPE office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans and long‑term sales pipelines to increase market share.
• Focus on larger value and volume opportunities and manage a portfolio of company products and solutions.
• Partner with external vendors and internal teams to advance complex solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and business executives, including C‑level.
• Apply consultative‑selling techniques to identify opportunities that generate profitable revenue growth.
• Advocate client needs during solution negotiations and troubleshoot delivery issues.
• Coordinate all account activities, forecast and report performance, and manage quarterly, half‑yearly and annual quotas and margin targets.
• Enter and update every opportunity in the pipeline tool on a weekly basis.
• Build a list of customer references.
• Implement margin recovery strategies.
• Act as the primary interface for international accounts, working with global and local business teams.

Qualifications

• University or bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in commercial account management.
• Deep expertise in computer, server, storage, printer and services solutions.
• Industry experience and knowledge of client business challenges.
• Strong partner motivation, time management, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end complex sales processes and advance solution value under pricing pressures.
