Key Account Manager – Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alps

Location and Working Environment
This position is a field‑based opportunity in the Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alps area in France. Purpose & Scope
- Establish and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with our clients.
- Cultivate a thorough understanding of patient care pathways and healthcare structures within the relevant therapeutic area, and collaborate with key centres and gain an understanding of decision‑making processes and pathways.
Role and Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of the needs and requirements of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and stakeholders in the region.
- Ensure interactions with healthcare professionals, experts, and stakeholders within the local ecosystem through individual visits, high‑value projects, omnichannel activity deployment, and conference participation.
- Collect and transmit to the Pharmacovigilance department all safety information related to Astellas products within the specified timeframes.
- Establish a strategic and tactical action plan and ensure the implementation of the various proposed actions to establish and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key centres in the region.
- Present to healthcare professionals the pharmaceutical products and their place in the therapeutic strategy within the care pathway, comprehensively and according to the company’s guidelines, to ensure their proper use.
- Ensure daily tracking of visits in a CRM tool, including visit objectives, paying close attention to the nature and information contained in visit reports.
- Share the needs of key stakeholders in the region with cross‑functional departments (medical and commercial/marketing).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in a scientific area, or equivalent.
- In‑depth scientific knowledge, including experience with biomarkers/diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of the local environment and ecosystem.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Understanding of regional health policies (Regional Health Agencies – ARS) and healthcare facility guidelines.
- Previous experience with hospital environment.
- Fluent in French.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of therapeutic area related to transplants.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Project management and communication skills tailored to various stakeholders.
- Previous experience with HCL.
