Key Account Executive, Google Cloud (English, French)

Location: Paris, France.

About the role

In this role, you will help shape the future of strategic business relationships. You will serve as the executive to enterprises, leverage existing relationships with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and C-level executives, and develop relationships with business unit leaders to understand their unique company issues to influence their perspective of Google solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year, overarching business transformation strategy aligning Google Cloud’s product roadmap with the long-term business goals.
  • Lead and orchestrate a cross-functional team of Customer Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Partners, and Professional Services to deliver a unified experience for the customer.
  • Structure, discuss, and close complex, high-value commercial agreements and multi-year commitments that maximize business value.
  • Monitor account health, migration velocity, and consumption metrics to identify blockers early, ensuring continuously realizes value from their cloud investments.
  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with executive leadership to influence their digital roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in leading software sales and account management at an enterprise business‑to‑business software company.
  • Experience in account management, promoting a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to drive sales in France.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in promoting infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects.
  • Experience working with customers in the retail segment.
  • Experience with large complex commercial and legal agreements working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to provide advice to executive management.

Benefits

  • Individual pay determined by job‑related skills, experience, and education or training.
  • France: €124,000 – €128,000 (EUR) + 150% bonus target + equity.
  • Equity granted exclusively and discretionarily by Alphabet Inc. on the basis of an agreement concluded between you and Alphabet Inc.
