This is a hybrid role: 3 days per week from the Paris office.
This role is a key employment law and employee relations position, providing expert legal support to HR and managers across a wide range of workforce matters.
Responsabilités principales
- Act as a trusted legal advisor on employment law matters, including hiring, mobility, performance management, disciplinary action, terminations, reorganisations and workplace policies.
- Train and raise awareness among HR teams and managers on labor law.
- Analyze and secure individual and collective employment‑related decisions such as hiring, mobility, disciplinary actions, terminations, reorganisations and general work life matters.
- Ensure compliance of HR practices with applicable labor laws, collective bargaining agreements and company policies.
- Draft, review and harmonise legal documentation, including employment contracts (permanent, fixed term, part‑time, addendum), internal policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Monitor legal and case‑law developments in labor law and assess their business impacts.
- Manage employment disputes and litigation, working closely with external legal counsel to assess risk, define legal strategies and support business decision‑making.
- Support employee relations, including relationships with works councils, employee representatives and trade unions; prepare meetings, consultations, negotiations and collective agreements.
- Contribute to compliance and governance, supporting diversity and inclusion, workplace wellbeing, harassment and discrimination matters, whistleblowing processes, social audits and risk‑management programmes.
- Participate in cross‑functional international projects such as HR process harmonisation, code of conduct and social compliance.
Qualifications
- Experienced employment law specialist with strong expertise in labour law and employee relations.
- Experience working with employee representative bodies, supporting collective consultations and negotiations, and handling employment disputes and litigation.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently across a broad range of legal and HR topics.
- Pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach with a genuine interest in supporting organisational change, compliance, employee wellbeing and positive workplace relations.
