As a Security Analyst, you are responsible for handling reports and incidents. Furthermore, you take on operational tasks related to cybersecurity and risk management.
As a Security Analyst, you work within the team, which deals with the handling of reported security incidents.
Additionally, you also contribute to following up on vulnerabilities and managing digital security risks, with an emphasis on the proactive aspect and preventing incidents.
In doing so, you maintain close contact with our internal helpline, our SOC, and the operational ICT teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines during security incident handling and coordinate these incidents based on predefined procedures
- Apply the incident response process with high quality
- Optimize collaboration between stakeholders (ICT call center, SOC, IT service providers, colleagues within Systems and Operations, Applications department)
- Handle various incidents with required confidentiality
- Handle reporting on security incidents
- Ensure escalation of serious cyber incidents to the CSIRT; act as point of contact for the customer and SOC, coordinating proper handling
- Responsible for security-related approvals in the RFF process
- Assist in the registration, follow-up, and mitigation of security risks
- Uphold information security mission and philosophy daily, encouraging colleagues and suppliers to follow these principles
- Contribute to converting security guidelines & policies into operational procedures and work instructions
- Demonstrable business experience regarding privacy management (DPO certification)
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a SOC Analyst
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms such as MISP
- Experience with vulnerability management
- Knowledge and experience regarding Information Security Management (ISO2700x)
- Technical knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux Servers
- Technical knowledge and experience with EDR/XDR
- Technical knowledge and experience with networks
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2
- At least 1 year of professional experience in IT
- Fluent in Dutch is preferred
- Eager to learn, motivated, and curious
