About the Role:
As part of strengthening the Group finance function, Edgyn & Inexto are looking for a Junior Project Billing Analyst / Operational Controller on a permanent contract. The role is suited to a recent graduate from a leading business school interested in an international and operational environment. The main mission is to secure and trigger customer billing based on project progress, contractual milestones, and operational information, while contributing to management control, financial analysis, and revenue recognition. The successful candidate will work directly with the Group CFO and closely with the sales, project, operations, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project billing, operational coordination, and revenue recognition:
Trigger customer billing based on project progress, contractual milestones and validated supporting information
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and ARR monitoring in line with contracts and accounting rules
Monitor project margins by comparing progress, costs, billable amounts and expected profitability
Consolidate billing backlog, unbilled services and blocking points, and review priorities with the Group CFO
Coordinate sales, project, operations and finance teams by defining ownership, deadlines and escalation paths
Track contracts, orders, billing terms and missing information to prevent delays
Reconcile operational, contractual and financial data and strengthen billing controls
2. Cross-functional projects and continuous improvement:
Improve finance processes, reporting, automation and data quality across Edgyn & Inexto
Support the selection and deployment of management and financial monitoring tools
Contribute to closing, forecasts and financial analyses
Qualifications
Education and experience:
Recent graduate from a leading business school, with a specialisation in finance, management control, audit or financial analysis
Initial experience in management control, audit, transaction services, corporate finance or financial analysis would be a plus, but is not essential
Technical and language skills:
Solid foundations in corporate finance, management control, performance analysis and key financial statements
Understanding of recurring software revenue models, including ARR and its links with billing, contracts and revenue recognition
Ability to support project margin analysis by monitoring costs, revenue, billing status and profitability indicators
Excellent command of Excel and agility with management, reporting, ERP, and data automation tools
Knowledge of Power BI, or strong willingness to learn data visualisation and business intelligence tools
Strong interest in applying AI to finance to improve analysis, automation, reporting and decision support
Ability to validate and analyse financial and operational data in a structured way
Fluency in French and excellent professional English, spoken and written
