Junior professorship (CPJ tenure track) in micro-nanotechnology for healthcare at ISIFC/FEMTO-ST
Come to Besançon, France, and join the University of Marie and Louis Pasteur along with the FEMTO-ST institute, one of the largest public research laboratories of the CNRS in engineering and computer science in France !
This junior professor faculty position (tenure track as professor after 4 years) will reinforce the scientific expertise of FEMTO-ST research teams in microsystems, microfluidics, acoustics, microfabrication as well as on recognized expertise in physical chemistry and biochemistry.
The position will benefit during 4 years from specific grant aid (including PhD scholarship), reduced teaching hours at biomedical engineering school (ISIFC) and a dedicated access to the MIMENTO micro-nanofabrication and characterization technology center, a member of the French national RENATECH network.
KEYWORDS:
- Design and integration of microfluidic components, bio-microsensors and actuators into lab-on-chip and organ-on-chip type devices,
- Development of multi-scale and multiplex analytical methodologies for the multimodal and discriminative detection and nanocharacterization of biological or bioengineered objects,
- Development of microsystems allowing the elucidation of mechanisms of action, functions and interactions of biological entities such as cells, vesicles or macromolecular complexes, directly within complex biofluids.
