Junior Professor Chair (CPJ) in acoustics

Publié par SFAThe CNRS has opened a Junior Professor Chair (CPJ) in acoustics. A CPJ position starts with a fixed-term public research appointment lasting between three and six years, including a light teaching load of approximately 45 hours per year, and leads shortly thereafter to a tenured appointment (CNRS Research Director DR). The position is intended for outstanding early-career researchers who have already established scientific independence.The Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics (LMA), located in Marseille in the south of France, is one of the targeted host laboratories. As part of this CPJ in acoustics, the successful candidate could join either the "Sounds" team or the "Wave and Imaging" team at LMA on the following research topics: physical and structural acoustics, acoustic field synthesis and control, acoustical self-sustained oscillations, conception and sound quality of musical instruments, mechanisms of auditory perception, ultrasounds and acoustics for biomedical, non-destructive testing and underwater acoustics applications.More information on the link below.Date de l'annonce :07/07/2026Site :
