Junior Platform Engineer - Frontend Focus

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Platform Engineer with a strong focus on frontend development to join our Platform team. The Platform team is responsible for enabling internal developer teams to self-serve their ability to run and own their code in production by creating standard, reusable components and processes. We treat our platform as a product, where our customers are the internal development teams.

Your primary mission will be to strengthen our frontend capabilities by developing and maintaining our internal developer tools, including our Developer Portal, Release Portal, and various internal dashboards. You will work closely with a senior platform engineer and gradually expand your skills to other Platform engineering areas such as backend development, infrastructure automation, and Kubernetes operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn Platform Engineering practices while leveraging your frontend expertise to improve developer experience across the organization.

Responsibilities

Frontend development (main focus)

• Build and maintain internal developer tools (Developer Portal, Release Portal)
• Develop responsive web applications and dashboards using Vue.js / React
• Integrate frontend components with APIs and backend services
• Improve features based on developer feedback and contribute to the design system
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews and best practices

Platform engineering (secondary focus)

• Contribute to platform features lifecycle (design → deployment → monitoring)
• Support backend development (Golang / Python) and CI/CD improvements
• Learn and contribute to infrastructure and automation (Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Help improve developer workflows and internal tooling

Learning & Growth

• Develop skills in platform engineering, backend development and infrastructure
• Participate in knowledge sharing and evaluation of new technologies.

Profile

Requirements

• ~2+ years experience in Frontend development
• Strong knowledge of Vue.js (Vue 3 / Composition API) and TypeScript
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS and REST API integration
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Vite/Webpack, npm/yarn) and Git
• English proficiency and ability to work autonomously in a team

Nice to have

• Experience with React, testing frameworks, or state management (Vuex/Pinia/Redux)
• Basic knowledge of backend languages (Go/Python)
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes
• Interest in platform engineering / developer platforms
