Job Title
Junior Group Leader – Cell Biology
Department & Context
The Cell Biology and Cancer Department (UMR144) at Institut Curie is seeking applications for a Junior Group Leader position in Cell Biology. This position is part of a multidisciplinary research environment that covers intracellular trafficking, cell signaling, molecular motors, cytoskeletal organization, cell migration, cell division, cell polarity, mechanics, morphogenesis, metabolism, size control, nuclear organization, ageing, and cancer.
Responsibilities
- Lead a laboratory space designed to accommodate up to six researchers.
- Develop and execute an ambitious independent research program in any area of cell biology, image analysis, or technology development for cell biology.
- Establish and foster strong collaborations with other research groups within the department.
Candidate Profile
Education and Knowledge
- Hold a PhD and have completed postdoctoral research experience.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in working within a dynamic and multidisciplinary research environment.
- Outstanding scientific track record and ability to develop an independent research program.
Contract Information
- Duration: Up to 3 years, allowing application for a permanent position (CNRS, Inserm, or university).
- Working hours: Full‑time.
- Remuneration: 3,628.80 € per month according to current pay scales.
- Benefits: Staff restaurant, 70% of annual transportation costs covered, company health insurance.
- Location: 12 rue Lhomond, 75005 Paris.
