KEPLER CHEUVREUX:

The Corporate Finance division specializes in advisory and financial services to companies, investment funds and family offices. The team consists of 30 professionals located in Paris, Geneva, London, and Frankfurt.

Within the corporate finance department, our team proposes to Small and MidCap listed corporates in Europe (between €100m and €5bn market capitalisation) to increase their investor reach, develop their equity story and recognition. In essence we consider how they can leverage their listing on their respective stock exchanges. We have a European focus, benefiting from existing relationships and research coverage on more than 1,000 listed companies. We offer sponsored research, liquidity contracts / share management services, as well as capital market considerations to help our clients in a challenging environment.

YOUR TASKS

As part of the Midcap Solutions team, you will join a leading European platform dedicated to listed Small & Mid Cap companies. You will work closely with senior team members and actively contribute to both business development and execution of mandates.

The role reports directly to the Head of Midcap Solutions and offers broad exposure to Kepler Cheuvreux’s key areas of expertise: Equity Research, Corporate Brokerage, Corporate Access, ECM, and Corporate Finance.

In a context of strong growth across Europe, you will play a key role in:

• Support commercial prospecting and identify high‑potential listed targets across Europe, particularly in Italy, with a strong focus on origination and client relationship management.
• Prepare sophisticated pitch materials and participate in strategic meetings with CEOs, CFOs, and Investor Relations officers.
• Manage and develop the commercial pipeline for corporate brokerage, liquidity contracts, and ECM mandates.
• Contribute to crafting bespoke “equity stories” and identifying ECM opportunities such as IPOs, ABBs, and capital increases.
• Manage client relationships and internal workstreams during the execution phase of equity and equity‑linked transactions.
• Support high‑profile marketing events, including roadshows and investor conferences.
• Act as a liaison between internal Sales, Equity Research, and Corporate Finance teams to ensure seamless mandate delivery.

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience in equity brokerage, ECM, M&A, audit, consulting, or a related financial environment
• Fluent in French and English (mandatory)
• Fluent Italian strongly preferred (key for business development)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial and client‑oriented mindset
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (familiarity with AI‑driven tools is a plus)
• Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet
