Reporting to our Senior Legal Counsel/ Head of Legal, you will join the European Legal team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join our European Legal & Compliance team within a fast-paced medical devices environment. The successful candidate will support contracts management, corporate legal activities and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and internal policies, while maintaining efficiency and a business-oriented mindset. This job has been tailored for you if:
Contracts Management in different European countries:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate contracts including sales contracts, distribution contracts, services agreements, supplier agreements and NDAs.
- Review and validate public procurement tenders and contracts.
- Ensure contracts comply with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Maintain and update contract templates and contribute to contract lifecycle management improvements.
Corporate Law & Governance:
- Assist in corporate legal matters including entity management, board documentation, and corporate filings.
Compliance & Regulatory Support:
- Provide a legal support for contracts with healthcare professionals in accordance with different European sunshine acts.
- Assist in monitoring and implementing compliance programs aligned with medical device regulations (e.g., MDR, FDA).
- Support GDPR and data protection compliance efforts.
- Help conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to legal and regulatory compliance.
Legal Research & Advisory:
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders.
Collaboration & Training:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and HR.
- Support legal training initiatives for employees on topics such as contract awareness and compliance.
You are our ideal candidate if:
- Master’s degree in business Law or equivalent legal qualification.
- 1–2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences sector.
- Solid understanding of business and contract law, corporate law and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a business-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities (with a significant workload) and work autonomously.
- Fluent in French and proficient in English. Other European languages would be a nice to have.
