Junior Legal Counsel
As part of its international growth, Fabriq is opening a newly created position of Junior Legal Counsel to structure and support its contracting activities around its B2B SaaS solution, in close collaboration with the sales team. The scope also extends to providing legal support to Fabriq’s US entity, adding a strong transatlantic dimension to the role.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial contracts (SaaS licenses, services agreements, partnerships, NDAs, GTCs, etc.)
- Manage contract renewals and oversee the contract portfolio in the CRM and internal tools
- Identify legal risks and propose pragmatic, business-oriented solutions
- Provide legal support to the sales team across the sales cycle (liability, data protection, etc.)
- Research and analyze complex or technical legal questions arising across the business
- Build and improve contract templates and internal contracting processes
- Conduct legal monitoring (contract law, data protection, IP, tech law) and contribute to pre-litigation management when needed
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a first experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (ideally - but not mandatory - in a B2B SaaS environment). Solid grounding in commercial contract law in an international context (French law and common law). Strong command of legal English and comfortable negotiating directly with international counterparties. Structured, pragmatic and business-oriented mindset, able to operate autonomously in a newly created role.
