Junior Key Account Manager - CDD 12 mois
Job Overview
This 12‑month fixed‑term, France‑based Junior Key Account Manager role requires the incumbent to maximize opportunities, manage risk, deliver profitability goals, develop long‑term business relationships and exceed customer expectations. The position will be based in France with a requirement to work in the office four days a week.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of bi‑annual business plans that achieve company goals and meet customer needs.
- Deliver product presentations, business proposals and marketing plans to customers on time for their portfolio of brands and categories.
- Provide customers with the information and materials needed to make decisions and manage business effectively.
- Develop and update forecasts for the account portfolio using POS, stock and allocation data, promotional plans, and other analysis tools on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with the planning team to secure adequate stock and allocations.
- Review current performance, ensure business goals are met, and propose adjustments with supporting evidence.
- Manage customer‑specific budgets and update Salesforce.
- Coordinate trade marketing and marketing activities across brands to achieve planned volume, distribution, and profit targets.
- Assist in maximizing account profitability through strategic business planning, creative promotional work, and data‑driven customer solutions.
- Collaborate with buyers to agree on sales growth objectives and manage the account selection process for the assigned brands and categories.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional.
- Experience in retail, CPG, or toy industries is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio.
- Customer‑driven mindset and a go‑getter attitude.
- Strong relationship‑building skills both externally and internally.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an asset in SAP and Salesforce.
- Excellent organization, planning and communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Goal‑oriented and self‑motivated, with persistence and determination.
- Flexibility regarding the accounts managed.
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel within France or internationally.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
Compensation
The anticipated pay range for candidates working in France is €36,500 to €48,500 per annum, depending on experience, industry background, skills, and education.
