Junior GSE Maintenance Assistant

The Junior GSE Maintenance Assistant will assist in carrying out equipment maintenance and aircraft maintenance support by providing equipment to aircraft I.A.W laid down procedures.

In this role you will: 

• Inform supervisor / team leader of any difficulties or obstructions faced in performing any work-related activities.
• Assist in the arrangement of aircraft maintenance support equipment as advised by supervisor / team leader.
• Assist in daily inspection of all equipment as per the instructions & guidelines provided by supervisor / team leader.
• Assist in provision of aircraft access equipment as instructed by supervisor / team leader.
• Assist in carrying out maintenance/repair work on equipment as directed by supervisor / team leader.
• Convey requests or queries from customers to supervisor / team leader in a clear and accurate manner.
• Perform housekeeping in work areas and take proper care of tools and equipment.
• Ensure instructions are understood and followed accordingly with regards to tasks, allocations, duty timings etc.
• Work safely and seek assistance or clarifications when in doubt.
• Ensure to accurately communicate and confirm completed/pending tasks information to supervisor / team leader.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• 10 Years schooling or equivalent
• 1 year Experience in Engineering. Other
• Basic working knowledge of electrical, mechanical or general engineering and maintenance activities, preferably.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
