Junior Fullstack Developer with C# skills

About the Role

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer at Shift, you will join a cross‑functional team dedicated to building and modernizing our core applications. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop intuitive user interfaces and maintain robust APIs that automate critical decision‑making processes. In this role, you will deliver clean, well‑tested code while directly contributing to production deployments and continuous architectural improvements. What you’ll do

• Deliver Quality Code: Write, test, and maintain clean frontend and backend code across the entire development lifecycle.
• Simplify Interfaces: Build intuitive user experiences that remove friction and streamline how information is collected.
• Support Robust APIs: Help develop and maintain reliable APIs to automate workflows and drive efficiency.
• Participate in Deployments: Actively contribute to software releases, solution monitoring, and testing from unit to end‑to‑end stages.
• Collaborate Globally: Partner with your teammates to give and receive constructive feedback while refining agile processes.
• Solve Issues Methodically: Address production bugs and technical challenges calmly, focusing entirely on solutions rather than blame.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Tech‑Savvy: Equipped with foundational skills in C# for backend development and experience or exposure to JavaScript libraries on the frontend.
• Growth‑Minded: Highly curious, eager to master our tech stack, and ready to test and learn new tools in an evolving market.
• Accountable: Ready to take proactive ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion, including documentation.
• An Impactful Communicator: Fluent in English, with the ability to listen carefully and share technical updates clearly during team reviews.
• Data‑Driven: Capable of connecting feedback from code reviews to improve future work and ensure code stability.
