Junior Full Stack Engineer (Remote EU)

As a Junior Full Stack Engineer, you will join a collaborative, fully remote platform team to help deliver cloud-based solutions that power life-saving products. You will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining robust software features while learning from experienced engineers in a fast-paced, iterative environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, clean code, and best practices in test-driven development and CI/CD. You will gain hands-on experience with modern web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and full stack development while playing a direct role in enhancing customer-facing solutions. Accountabilities
- Collaborate with the platform team to design, implement, and deliver cloud-based solutions that meet customer and business objectives.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, applying software engineering best practices including TDD and CI/CD.
- Participate in code and architecture reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and operational support.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for system performance, usability, and reliability.
- Maintain a proactive and positive approach in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Node.js, and working knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, EC2, ELB, API Gateway, VPCs, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of OpenSearch or similar search technologies.
- Understanding of full stack development and ability to work with React, AngularJS, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches in a fast-growing platform team.
