Within the Group Treasury team, the Junior Front Office Officer supports the day-to-day management of centralized treasury operations, financing activities, and the monitoring of the Group’s financial risks.
The role involves assisting the team with cash management, financing, and risk hedging activities while developing expertise in financial markets and treasury management tools.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Treasury Management
- Support the monitoring and optimization of the Group’s bank positions.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing cash flows.
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of short-term cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of treasury data within treasury management systems.
Financing
- Manage intragroup funding for subsidiaries.
- Support the monitoring of the Group’s external loans and borrowings with financial counterparties.
- Prepare analyses required for financing transactions.
Financial Risk Management
- Support the monitoring of foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of hedging transactions.
- Perform financial analyses and reporting.
Reporting and Closing Activities
- Produce regular treasury reports.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities.
- Support intercompany reconciliations and controls.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in updating treasury policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the enhancement of treasury tools and processes.
The Experience You Bring
- Good understanding of debt capital markets, financial derivatives, and corporate treasury activities (cash management, cash flow forecasting, interest rate risk and foreign exchange risk management).
- Ability to analyze the economic, tax, and accounting implications (both statutory and consolidated) related to treasury activities.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and the economic interpretation of financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Knowledge of treasury management systems (particularly KTP/CTI Finastra) is considered an advantage.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the areas of corporate finance, capital markets, and treasury.
Fluent English , and french.
Experience in the distribution sector would be considered an asset
