Junior Email Marketing Specialist
This role combines creative design and digital production, with a strong focus on email and web-based content, but also on other digital and printing assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing engaging digital and printing assets and executing them across platforms using tools such as Figma or Knak.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand communications while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all outputs.
This role focuses on creating and managing email communications using HTML and tools like Knak to ensure brand alignment and effective collaboration with internal teams. Key duties include programming emails, managing content across platforms, handling simple creative updates, and maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong digital design and technical skills, clear communication, project management experience, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Program emails in HTML based on provided copy and layout, or assemble emails using Knak as the primary tool.
- Utilize proprietary AstraZeneca tools, with training provided as needed.
- Collaborate with local brand teams and cross-functional groups to produce layouts and program emails, as well as occasional newsletters for healthcare professionals.
- Handle basic design and layout tasks and apply omnichannel tagging.
- Engage with the Omnichannel Delivery team, Marketing Company stakeholders, relevant market teams, Innovation and Business Excellence teams as required.
- Perform simple video and image editing tasks and quickly update or refresh existing materials (such as resizing and making minor updates, considered a beneficial skill).
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and consistent application of relevant policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.
Requirements
- Graduate or post-graduate, preferably with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information system or a similar field.
- Native fluency in both oral and written English.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and dedicated to driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Skills in email or digital design.
- Awareness of usability and accessibility standards, including responsiveness, readability, and adaptability for multiple devices and screen formats.
French Language and Business Proficiency in English required
Hybrid role - onsite in Paris 2-3 days per week
