Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Consolidation Analyst to join our Group Finance team in Paris. Reporting to the Group Consolidation Director, you will play an important role in the preparation and analysis of the Group's consolidated financial information, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable reporting in accordance with IFRS standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to deepen their expertise in group consolidation, financial reporting, and IFRS within a complex international environment. You will work closely with finance teams across multiple countries and contribute to key reporting, closing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting

  • Support the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and Group reporting.
  • Participate in the consolidation process, including profit & loss, cash flow, and key financial indicators.
  • Review reporting packages submitted by affiliates and perform first-level controls.
  • Prepare and document standard consolidation entries under supervision.
  • Perform reconciliations and consistency checks across balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Analyze financial variances and investigate unusual movements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of half-year and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
  • Support external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.

Performance Analysis

  • Prepare recurring financial analyses and management reporting materials.
  • Support reconciliation between management reporting and consolidated financial information.
  • Contribute to forecast and budget preparation activities.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Assist with updates to reporting structures, master data and consolidation requirements.
  • Support transfer pricing update processes.
  • Contribute to improving reporting efficiency, controls, and closing timelines.
  • Participate in testing activities related to reporting tools and process enhancements.

Business Partnering

  • Provide first-level support to local finance teams on reporting guidelines and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Corporate Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Control, Investor Relations, and Shared Service Centers.
  • Support training and guidance sessions for finance teams worldwide.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in consolidation, external audit, or financial reporting.
  • Experience within an international or multinational environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong foundation in financial accounting and consolidation principles.
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS and a strong desire to build technical accounting expertise.
  • Ability to perform reconciliations, analyze variances, and work with large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint is appreciated.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • French is required.
