We leverage advanced Deep Learning and state-of-the-art Computer Vision techniques to extract the location, movements, and identity of every player and the ball directly from broadcast video.
American football presents unique computer vision challenges, such as tracking fast-moving players while handling occlusions. Your work will directly contribute to solving these problems.**Role**We are currently recruiting a Junior Computer Vision Scientist to join the American Football Computer Vision team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize cutting-edge algorithms alongside a more experienced team member. As a junior team member, you are expected to have first experience in deep learning applied to Computer Vision (internship, permanent contract, personal project...), with a demonstrated interest in the underlying mechanisms of neural networks and prior hands-on experience in training them. D in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field.
- Comfortable with Python usage in machine learning, deep learning and/or computer vision.
- A first experience in computer vision, specifically involving deep learning, data manipulation and visualization.
- Excellent communication skills in English and in French
- Interest in solving real-world problems: you love connecting and tweaking things to solve hard problems.
- Great interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.* **Knowledge of or interest in American football is a definite plus**
