Junior Assistant Underwriter – Paris (Fixed-Term Contract)

Our client, a leading international insurer and reinsurer, is seeking a Junior Assistant Underwriter to join their team in Paris on a fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic underwriting team, providing both operational and technical support across reinsurance underwriting and accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process underwriting submissions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and issue policy documentation.
• Support premium processing and financial reconciliations.
• Act as a key point of contact for brokers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate underwriting and accounting records.
• Assist with renewal processes.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of operational services.

About You

• Previous experience within insurance or reinsurance operations.
• Knowledge of reinsurance accounting (treaty and facultative) is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
