Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Manage and develop a portfolio of department stores, specialty retailers and strategic partners across Italy.
- Build strong and long‑term relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for the brand.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support the expansion of the distribution network in line with the brand’s positioning.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and support clients in achieving their business objectives while ensuring sustainable growth for the brand.
Sales & Showroom Management
- Prepare and conduct showroom appointments during seasonal selling campaigns.
- Define OTB budgets and sales targets with clients in line with seasonal and annual objectives.
- Support clients in building balanced assortments across categories, with a focus on collection performance and product mix.
- Monitor order intake and follow up on seasonal business opportunities.
Performance Analysis & Client Development
- Monitor sell‑in and sell‑out performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and client performance.
- Analyze weekly, monthly and seasonal business results, including best sellers, slow movers, category performance and stock levels.
- Develop action plans with clients to support sell‑through, product visibility and category development.
- Collect and share market feedback, competitive intelligence and local business insights.
Brand Animation & Client Support
- Organize and deliver product trainings, collection presentations and client meetings, both in-store and remotely.
- Support key accounts with merchandising recommendations, product knowledge and commercial initiatives.
- Coordinate marketing activations, pop‑ups, special projects and local events to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
- Ensure brand image, product presentation and communication tools are consistently executed across the network.
Commercial Operations & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Credit Department, Supply Chain and Marketing teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow up on deliveries, payments and customer requests, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates on client performance, opportunities and risks.
Profile
- 2–4 years of experience in wholesale, account management or sales within the fashion, luxury or premium retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Italian wholesale landscape and key market players.
- Existing relationships with Italian department stores and specialty retailers are a strong advantage.
- Commercially driven, with the ability to build trusted partnerships and develop business opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with sales data, budgets and performance indicators.
- Organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and good command of Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
- Passion for fashion, product and brand development.
