Junior Accountant / Accountant

• Responsible for daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, account reconciliations and month-end closing. Ensure the accuracy, completeness and proper documentation of accounting records. Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax requirements. Support internal and external audits, and coordinate with internal departments, external accountants, auditors and other service providers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of accounting activities in accordance with Group policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
• Support additional finance and accounting activities as required, including the preparation of financial schedules and supporting documents, follow-up on outstanding accounting matters, implementation of accounting procedures and assistance with finance-related projects. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the line manager or team lead.

Job Description

Profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, bookkeeping or financial operations.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and local tax compliance.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and well-organized, with a strong commitment to accuracy and timely delivery.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changing business needs and undertake other reasonable duties related to the role.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication and coordination skills when working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative in identifying and following up on outstanding tasks, and collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Languages

• Chinese: Required.
• French or English: Required, with proficiency sufficient for daily accounting communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
