THE POSITION
As Business Application Specialist, you will ensure that Xylem’s products are correctly implemented and maintained in the systems used by the global sales organization. You will work closely with product management, engineering, sales teams and IT, acting as a bridge between product knowledge, business requirements and system functionality.
A key part of the role is supporting product launches and upgrades, ensuring that new products and features are properly reflected in the systems. You will also contribute to documentation, training and workshops to help users work effectively with the applications.
Here are some examples of what you will be doing:
- Implement and maintain products in Xylem’s sales and configuration systems
- Support product launches by ensuring systems are updated and aligned with new product releases
- Translate business requirements and product knowledge into system specifications
- Coordinate development of new functionality together with IT and development teams
- Create documentation, training material and hold workshops for users
- Test system updates and identify opportunities to improve system functionality and workflows
QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you bring the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience working with business systems or configuration tools
- Experience writing requirement specifications and working in IT-related projects
- Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with CPQ or configuration software (for example Tacton) is highly valued
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
To succeed in the role, you are analytical, structured and comfortable working where technology and business meet. You enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders and explaining complex topics in a clear and practical way.
