Airbus Commercial Aircraft Jigs & Tool Designer (f/m)
Location: Toulouse, France – part of the OMRIE Robotic Support & Expertise team.
Role Overview: You will join a team developing robotic and automation industrial lines, delivering ground‑breaking industrial stations to meet Airbus’ challenges and future product set‑ups.

Responsibilities
- Propose the most adapted jigs and tools integration solution for the industrial mission.
- Define technical constraints around station, aircraft environment, jigs and macro operations.
- Design the integration solution in CATIA V5.
- Perform mechanical dimensioning (static and dynamic stress analysis) and modify design accordingly.
- Perform safety risk assessment of the station and ergonomic analysis.
- Contribute to and validate specifications for industrial integration into the line.
- Drive external suppliers’ contributions for station design, documentation and installation.
- Define maintenance plan and related means.
Qualifications
- Strong background in industrial or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in jigs, tools and mechanical integration into industrial manufacturing lines.
- Technical expertise in CATIA V5, mechanical dimensioning (static/dynamic stress) and jigs/tools technologies.
- Proficiency in English; additional French, Spanish or German is a plus.
- Good experience with jigs and tools technology.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven creativity in problem‑solving.
- Team player.
