Jigs and Tool Designer Engineer (m/f)
Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Jigs & Tool Designer (f/m) to join the OMRIE Robotic Support & Expertise team based in Toulouse, France. The role involves delivering ground‑breaking industrial stations to achieve Airbus industrial challenges and prepare future products industrial setup.
Responsibilities
- Propose the Jigs and tools integration most adapted solution for the industrial mission
- Define technical constraints around station, aircraft environment, jigs and macro operations to be done
- Design the integration solution in CATIA V5
- Perform mechanical dimensioning (static and dynamic stress analysis), and modify design accordingly
- Perform the safety risk assessment of the station and the ergonomic analysis
- Contribute and validate specifications for industrial integration into the line
- Drive external suppliers contributions for the station design, documentation and installation
- Define maintenance plan and related means
Qualifications
- Strong Background in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in jigs, tools, and mechanical integration into industrial manufacturing lines
- Technical expertise in CATIA V5, mechanical dimensioning (static/dynamic stress), and jigs/tools technologies
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or German is a plus
- Good experience in jigs and tools related technology
- Ability to work in a fast‑pace environment
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
