JAVA Developer – Biometric Passport System

We are seeking a highly skilled JAVA Developer to join our team in Clairvaux, France. As a JAVA Developer you will design and implement software solutions for our biometric passport system, used by the government to issue secure passports to citizens and non-citizens.

Responsibilities

• Design and code software solutions for the biometric passport system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot/debug code issues.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, proper documentation, and peer reviews.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
• Assist with system maintenance and updates as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a JAVA Developer.
• Proficient in Java programming language.
• Experience with database design and management, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on government projects or systems.
• Familiarity with biometric technology.
• Knowledge of security protocols and encryption standards.
• Fluency in French spoken and written.

Salary: $1800 per month. This is a full‑time position located in Clairvaux, France.
