Java Designer/Developer

Responsibilities

• Join a squad responsible for managing the Customer and Contract Master Data repositories within the information system
• Contribute to the redesign project for the Customer and Contract repositories, with a target go-live in 2026
• Design, develop, and maintain the application ecosystem
• Participate in implementing a Master Data Management tool for the Customer repository
• Develop and maintain a Java-based Contract repository on Azure with PostgreSQL
• Develop and maintain a Java-based data exchange and distribution layer for Customer and Contract data on Azure with PostgreSQL
• Manage production incidents (STEP/RCC/ODL)
• Analyze and resolve issues in STEP
• Develop fixes and enhancements for STEP/RCC/ODL
• Write functional and technical specifications
• Design technical solutions
• Implement monitoring with Elasticsearch
• Participate in the project's data migration activities

Requirements

• 6 to 9 years of experience in similar environments
• Expertise in STEP, ideally in a customer master data repository context
• Expertise in Java
• Proficiency in English
• Strong written communication skills
• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile project environment (SAFe)
• Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel, addressing functional issues related to banking operations
• Good understanding of functional requirements, with strong listening and communication skills
