ITAM lead

We are launching a strategic program to strengthen IT Asset Management (ITAM) through the ServiceNow platform.

The selected candidate will serve as the ITAM Lead (BPC / Business Process Consultant / Senior Technical Consultant / Solution Architect) for the entire ITAM domain—starting with the implementation of the Software Asset Management (SAM) module, followed by expanding the scope to Hardware Asset Management (HAM) .

Main Responsibilities

ITAM Leadership

• Own the ITAM component: scoping , backlog management , prioritization , and quality assurance of all deliverables.
• Act as the primary point of contact for ITAM-related architecture and processes.

Software Asset Management (SAM) Implementation

• Define and implement processes for:
• License management
• Compliance
• Integration with the CMDB

Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Deployment

• Integrate HAM with existing tools and enterprise systems.

Governance & Standards

• Establish ITAM governance: standards, naming conventions, documentation, and architecture diagrams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical and functional documentation.

Integrations

• Coordinate and oversee integrations with:
• CMDB
• Discovery
• Third‑party tools and repositories

Detailed Responsibilities

• Define the target ITAM architecture and all related data flows .
• Write and manage user stories .
• Deliver high‑quality SAM/HAM processes and ensure data accuracy .
• Lead integration strategy across ITOM , ITSM , and CMDB.
• Conduct technical design reviews and ensure adherence to both internal and vendor standards.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, including 4+ years on ServiceNow-based projects.
• SAM (licensing, compliance, optimization)
• HAM (full asset lifecycle)
• Strong understanding of:
• CMDB & Discovery
• ServiceNow platform architecture and workflows
• Familiarity with Now Create , platform governance, and security best practices.
• Ability to:
• Write clear user stories
• Support UAT and stakeholder validation

Required Certifications

• CIS‑SAM — Certified Implementation Specialist, Software Asset Management
• CIS‑HAM — Certified Implementation Specialist, Hardware Asset Management
• CSA — Certified System Administrator
