Responsibilities

• Contribute to defining and implementing the procurement strategy for the IT category as part of the Global Procurement team.
• Communicate this strategy to local procurement teams and ensure its consistent deployment across all regions.
• Lead global sourcing initiatives and manage end‑to‑end tender processes, ensuring that the requirements of all countries and internal stakeholders are fully captured and addressed.
• Oversee procurement governance throughout the sourcing lifecycle, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and the approved supplier panel, working closely with internal stakeholders and in accordance with Valeo's standards and governance framework.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for your area of responsibility.
• Monitor procurement performance and supplier delivery through a comprehensive set of KPIs, driving continuous improvement and maximizing the value generated by the procurement strategy.
• Continuously assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies within your categories to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Procurement.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Buyer in an international environment or within the IT/Telecommunications sector.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a customer‑oriented and results‑driven mindset.
• Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
