IT RepoClear and DCL Support Analyst
Overview
IT Support Analyst – Paris. Role within the RepoClear and Digital AssetClear IT team at LCH SA/LSEG, supporting in-house trade management and risk systems, production processes, monitoring, and incident coordination. The role is based in Paris, with on-site on-call coverage from 8:00 to 20:00 Paris time. Strong verbal and written English skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Business lines to write detailed specifications for implementation.
- Validate updated application user guides following releases.
- Test and validate fixes and enhancements.
- Validate and historize test results; accompany projects to ensure testing perimeter is up to date.
- Be the point of contact for testing and any new requirements.
- Define test use cases with collaborators; provide support when member test campaigns are launched.
- Provide frequent status updates on tests and topics you lead; develop action and remediation plans when necessary.
- Participate in recruitment and support integration of new joiners to the team.
- Plan, organize, and deliver your area’s activities (planning, resources, budget); organize governance of initiatives and coordinate internal and external participants to meet deliveries and budget deadlines.
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
- SQL skills suitable for data analysis and problem solving; desire to automate manual tasks to improve efficiency.
- Strong understanding of control environment in regulated financial services, covering development, test and production environments.
- Structured, proactive, and clear communicator with initiative; ability to escalate issues quickly.
- Fluent in French and English (verbal and written).
- Good understanding of Financial Markets Information Systems structure and functioning; ability to learn our business and systems.
- Autonomy and ability to integrate within teams; good interpersonal and user-focused skills.
- Strong writing skills (test plans, acceptance reports); good analysis and innovation capabilities.
- Team player with dynamism, delivery orientation, and the ability to work in multicultural and distributed teams.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Incident, Problem, and Change Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Some scripting in Unix and programming in a language such as Java.
