XWiki is an innovative French company created in 2004 by Ludovic Dubost, which is contributing for more than 20 years to an Open World by having created and continuously building two 100% Open Source projects: XWiki and CryptPad, that respond to two important society needs: Knowledge Sharing and Individual Privacy.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Recruiter to support our Talent Acquisition activities.

This is a fixed-term position and we are open to different collaboration models, including part-time, full-time, or project-based, depending on the recruitment needs, project requirements, and the candidate’s availability.

The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting technical talent and be comfortable working in this field. Familiarity with open-source technologies and developer communities is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with hiring managers and technical teams to understand hiring requirements and define candidate profiles.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for technical positions.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through targeted and personalized outreach.
• Screen CVs, LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repositories, technical portfolios, and open-source contributions.
• Conduct initial screening interviews to assess experience, technical background, motivation, communication, and overall fit.
• Coordinate technical assessments and interviews with engineering teams.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact through offer stage.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technical candidates.
• Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in candidate database.
• Support employer-branding and talent-attraction initiatives within the technology and open-source communities.
• If there is interest, you can also get involved in the learning & development processes and also in other processes, supporting the global HR & Admin team.

Requirements:

• Ideally 2–5 years of experience in recruitment.
• Proven experience recruiting IT professionals.
• Good understanding of the IT ecosystem and common technical terminology.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other sourcing platforms is a plus.
• Strong sourcing and candidate-engagement skills.
• Ability to understand technical job descriptions and identify relevant profiles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder-management and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
