IT Projects and Services Buyer
The Procurement department offers a cross-functional and diverse position within a division of more than 250 people, working with over 5,000 suppliers and managing €6 billion in non-fuel spend.
In a highly competitive aviation environment, Procurement plays a key role in controlling expenditure, reducing unit costs, capturing innovation, and increasing synergies with KLM.
The IT Procurement department is a joint Air France-KLM entity, working with the Group Information Systems Directorate as well as all business units across the company to support the Group’s transformation through major projects such as MDC, Future Ready Carrier, Move to the Cloud, the convergence of AF-KLM HR information systems, and many other digital transformation programs.

Job Description
You will be responsible for procurement activities within the IT Procurement category “Development & Services”, coveringall onshore, nearshore, and offshore IT services.
Your mission:
maximize the value of selected solutions while reducing financial, security, and legal risks.
Your responsibilities :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders, integrating CSR objectives and innovation
- Manage the full Source-to-Contract cycle: prepare tenders (including business requirements and specifications), organize and lead RFP processes, select suppliers, conduct negotiations, and secure robust contracts compliant with internal policies and legal requirements
- Ensure performance management: define SLAs and KPIs, monitor implementation and service quality
- Analyze and improve existing contracts
- Ensure reporting, procurement budget monitoring, and day-to-day operational management
- Participate in Air France-KLM procurement community events
Your team :
You will join a team made up of both Air France and KLM colleagues, with each team member managing their own portfolio of projects and categories. You will report to the IT Dev & Services Category Manager and be part of a dynamic team working at both national and international levels.
Remote work :
up to 2 days per week
The first interview will be conducted in English.
Candidate Profile
Master’s degree (Business School or Procurement specialization)
Required skills :
- Good legal knowledge, particularly in contract drafting
- Negotiation skills in demanding environments
- Strong interest in information technologies
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility: ability to manage procurement projects from business needs analysis through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract finalization
- Strong stakeholder management skills: ability to build effective relationships, align expectations, and influence internal and external stakeholders in an international environment
Additional assets :
Knowledge of IT project management methodologies (Agile Scrum, V-model)
You demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills, strong writing and organizational abilities, and are recognized for your adaptability, autonomy, and teamwork in a multicultural environment. You also have excellent interpersonal skills, coordination abilities, listening skills, perspective, self-control, and an interest in accounting.
