IT Manager – Toulouse
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead Pangea’s IT department and define the IT vision and strategy to support business growth and industrialization. The role involves driving the integration of an AI roadmap, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable use of AI tools, and partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Management to translate business needs into robust IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and own the IT vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives and long‑term growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service orientation.
- Act as the main point of contact between IT and other departments, ensuring alignment and clear prioritization of initiatives.
- Establish and maintain IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices.
- AI Roadmap & Digital Transformation:
- Define and drive the company‑wide AI roadmap, ensuring safe, compliant, and value‑driven adoption of AI tools.
- Lead the integration of AI solutions (e.g., Copilot and other approved tools) into business processes to improve efficiency, decision‑making, and execution.
- Ensure AI usage complies with data protection, confidentiality, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Promote AI literacy across the organization through training, guidelines, and continuous support.
- IT Operations & Infrastructure:
- Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Oversee cloud services, on‑premise systems, user devices, and industrial IT interfaces when applicable.
- Manage IT service delivery, incident management, and user support to meet business needs.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, scalability initiatives, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Define and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect company data, intellectual property, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Lead risk assessments, mitigation plans, and continuous improvement of security posture.
- Vendors, Budget & Projects:
- Manage IT budget, forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Select, manage, and negotiate with IT vendors, software providers, and external partners.
- Lead IT‑related projects end‑to‑end, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, and alignment with business priorities.
What you need to be successful
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT roles with increasing responsibility, including leadership or management positions.
- Strong background in IT strategy, infrastructure, and service management.
- Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation and/or AI‑related initiatives.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable IT solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus.
