IT Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Gather contacts from the relevant business stakeholders
• Engage with the relevant business units to understand the project’s impact on the service
• Identify financial issues and define the approach in coordination with the buyer responsible for the contract, if applicable
• Analyze contracts to determine the level of complexity of required actions
• Inform the relevant buyers and managers
• Escalate any potential blocking issues to the appropriate buyers
• Request further escalation if necessary
• Report on the mapping follow-up in a consolidated XLS summary

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Contract Law / Business Law (or equivalent)
• 1 to 5 years' professional experience in a generalist legal role focused on contract law
• Experience negotiating supplier/vendor contracts, gained within an in-house legal department and/or a legal advisory firm or law firm
• Business-level English
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and solid drafting/writing abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and responsiveness are essential for success in this role
