Overview

Company: RENAULT s.a.s. Position: Senior Procurement Specialist (IT/IS) in the Groupe Renault procurement service. Location: Technocentre, Guyancourt (78), France. Employment type: CDI. 2 days of telework allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sourcing process: define, prepare and execute RFI/RFP cycles, analyze technological and market data (Gartner tools preferred), craft specifications, collect and assess commercial offers, negotiate with potential suppliers, create a coherent technical‑economic synthesis and prepare documentation for supplier selection.
  • Ensure compliance with Renault Group procurement processes; establish, coordinate, and maintain contractual terms (GDPR, SLA, security annexes) in collaboration with the legal team.
  • Archive all consultations and contract documents in the corporate database.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle for the assigned perimeter.
  • Conduct benchmarking of current solutions and vendor offerings, comparing solutions, pricing and emerging technologies.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives that support the Group’s digital transformation and contribute to the procurement performance of the team.
  • Propose value‑adding alternatives to internal clients and keep supplier information up to date.
  • Run regular performance reviews with suppliers and management, challenge suppliers to reduce costs.
  • Represent the Group in supplier relationships, ensuring healthy and sustainable interactions, fair negotiations, and adherence to the Renault Group Ethics Code.

Qualifications

  • University degree (BAC +5) in technical or economic studies.
  • Significant experience in procurement and information technology.
  • Solid expertise in IT infrastructure products (servers, high‑performance computing, networking, storage).
  • Knowledge of FinOps, Cloud computing (On‑Premise, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and emerging AI principles (LLM, agents).
  • Fluency in French and English, capable of presenting to a demanding audience.
  • Mastery of MS Office – especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word; proficiency in procurement platforms such as Ivalua.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and prioritisation skills; autonomous, communicative, team‑oriented and customer‑focused.
  • Ability to drive negotiations in complex, time‑constrained situations and to persuade stakeholders.
