IT Engineer
Based in our Paris office, you will handle complex IT requests and drive internal efficiency. Your mission will be to manage, maintain, and develop our internal IT infrastructure, providing a stable, secure, and high-performing workspace for all Malters. You will join a team of 4 and be a huge contributor to an ambitious automation strategy that minimizes operational overhead and accelerates business workflows across Malt.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and deploy an internal framework of reliable workflows using No/Low‑Code (N8N) to automate complex, recurring business processes.
- Own the implementation, upgrade, and continuous maintenance of critical infrastructure systems, with a particular focus on mastering Okta.
- Manage and resolve advanced technical support incidents across hardware, software, and local office networks, stepping in actively whenever ticket volumes surge.
- Track and organize engineering task delivery through Jira, while maintaining robust, up-to-date documentation for all internal IT procedures and system architectures.
- Secure our organizational perimeter by managing user onboarding/offboarding, auditing privileged accounts, and strengthening endpoint compliance and MFA coverage.
- Partner directly with security stakeholders to align Malt's workplace infrastructure with industry regulations and robust ISO 27001 compliance standards.
About you
- 3+ years of experience navigating fast-paced, highly changeable scale-up environments where you have handled complex IT assets or fleet operations.
- Professional fluency in English, to align with international teams across our distinct business units.
- Proven technical mastery of Okta identity management, Terraform, device management tools (MDM), and Google Workspace.
- Solid knowledge of workplace infrastructure, including firewalls, local corporate networks, and routing layouts to optimize office connectivity.
- Highly adaptable problem-solver who can build basic AI prompt‑engineering solutions, define technical steps from scratch, and connect effortlessly with non‑technical users.
- You are available to work onsite (5 days per week) from our Paris office.
