Responsibilities
- Act as the primary IT point of contact for the France region, providing on-site and remote technology support to users.
- Provide first-level support for hardware, operating systems, applications, mobile devices, peripherals, network connectivity, and SaaS/cloud services.
- Support office users in France and, when necessary, remote users globally.
- Document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, manage tickets through to resolution, and escalate issues as required.
- Participate in employee onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning equipment, creating access/accounts, retrieving and decommissioning hardware.
- Maintain accurate records of local IT assets, including hardware, software, and license inventories.
- Support office IT infrastructure, including network equipment, printers, meeting-room technologies, and other workplace systems.
- Serve as the on-site contact for local vendors and service providers, including internet service providers, hardware suppliers, and technology partners.
- Maintain and update IT documentation and the knowledge base for regional and global IT practices.
- Contribute to equipment lifecycle management, system performance improvements, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing in coordination with the global IT team.
- Provide regular updates to the IT Director & Security Officer and collaborate closely with the IT team across multiple time zones.
- Implement and support the company’s IT security standards in the France region, in accordance with global policies and European requirements such as GDPR.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or IT administration in a multi-technology environment.
- Strong experience in desktop support for Windows 10/11, macOS, mobile devices, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Azure AD/Entra ID, and SaaS/cloud applications.
- Knowledge of endpoint management and security tools such as Intune, MDM, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts: LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting office IT infrastructure, including printers, meeting-room technologies, and local network equipment.
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently as the primary regional IT resource while effectively collaborating with a remote global team.
- Fluency in French and professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, required.
- Knowledge of European data protection and privacy standards, including GDPR, is an asset.
- Experience with Power
Shell, Share
Point, or endpoint security tools is a plus. - Interest in cybersecurity and related certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft security certifications, is desirable.
- Technical degree or equivalent combination of certifications and experience.
