About The Hük

The Hük is a next-gen relationship & lifestyle app combining music-based onboarding, personality archetypes, and curated experiences. Our vision is to build the most intuitive and emotionally intelligent dating platform of the new decade.

We're now expanding our mobile team and looking for a talented iOS Developer Intern who can help build our MVP and bring fresh ideas to the product.

Your Mission

As an iOS Developer Intern, you will:

• Build core features of The Hük's iOS app using Swift / SwiftUI
• Work closely with our CTO and product designer to ship fast and iterate
• Integrate with backend services (Supabase / AWS)
• Optimize animations, transitions, and UI flows
• Collaborate on app architecture, state management, and API design
• Assist in testing, debugging, and App Store deployment
• (Bonus) Provide input on Android parity using Kotlin/Jetpack Compose

What You'll Work On

• Music-themed onboarding frames
• Personality-based recommendation screens
• Swipe, match, chat, and micro-interaction UI
• In-app experiences, location-based suggestions
• Push notifications, session management, and analytics hooks

Required Skills

• Solid foundation in Swift and SwiftUI
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Basic experience with version control (Git/GitHub)
• Strong UI/UX intuition
• Eagerness to learn, prototype, and iterate fast

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Kotlin or Android Studio experience
• Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or AWS
• Experience with animations and gesture-driven interfaces
• Knowledge of Figma
