Investment Manager - Renewable Energy Africa

Overview:

Inuka is working with a renewable energy investment firm to recruit an Investment Manager based in Paris. This role will lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of renewable energy investments across Africa, supporting the full transaction lifecycle from origination through to closing and portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead assessment and execution of renewable energy investment opportunities.
• Manage transaction processes including due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.
• Build and review financial models, valuations, and investment cases.
• Prepare investment committee materials and transaction recommendations.
• Manage relationships with developers, investors, lenders, and advisors.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation initiatives.
• Conduct market research and identify new investment opportunities across Africa.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in investments, M&A, transaction advisory, or project finance.
• Proven renewable energy transaction experience.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience executing transactions across African markets.
• Strong understanding of investment structures and deal execution processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English required; French is advantageous.
