Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic advisory transactions globally, including M&A, IPOs, strategic capital and LBO deals, and lead capital market transactions.
  • Conduct financial analysis of target companies, including maintaining and updating comparable company and transaction analyses.
  • Monitor targeted clients for news and announcements and support transactions across the bank’s products.
  • Maintain financial models, coordinate due diligence, manage working-group lists and timetables.
  • Research companies and industries; support client initiatives by generating new ideas and presenting them.
  • Formulate and develop client pitch-books and analysis in addition to supporting other bankers on the team.
  • Build direct cross-functional relationships with bankers in product and regional business units.
  • Maintain good conduct and sound judgment in line with the Bank of America Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a numerical discipline such as economics or finance.
  • 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Highly developed analytical and interpretive reasoning and creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage productively with senior management.
  • Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, a strong work ethic and a collaborative team focus.
  • A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and under tight deadlines with minimum direct supervision.
