We are partnering with a premier global upper‑mid‑cap Private Equity firm as they expand their European footprint with a new office in Paris. With a multi‑decade track record across the US, Europe, and Asia, and over €20Bn in AuM, the firm executes buyout strategies in the healthcare, consumer, and services sectors. They are currently seeking an Investment Associate to join the new Paris team and support deal execution across all core verticals in Europe.

What the job involves

• Sourcing & Business Development: Actively drive outbound sourcing efforts with a strong field‑focus; independently build and nurture external relationships by leading meetings with founders, management teams, and investment bankers
• Deal Execution: Take the lead on complex transactions, overseeing rigorous financial modelling, managing deep‑deep due diligence workstreams, and driving the preparation of investment memorandums
• Portfolio Management: Form close partnerships with portfolio companies, participating actively in company life, driving strategic analyses, and initially acting as a board observer with a pathway to taking definitive board seats
• Cross‑Border Collaboration: Work closely with the global team, leveraging international insights, shaping materials for shadow investment committees, and driving value creation agendas while mentoring junior team members

Who we are looking for

• Full‑time work experience at a top‑tier institution, featuring a background in either premier Investment Banking & M&A or upper‑mid & large‑cap buy‑side investing
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a tier‑one academic institution
• Trilingual fluency is required: fluent English, French and/or German language skills, plus a third European language
• Commercially minded, highly analytical, and proactive, with a demonstrable passion for the consumer, healthcare, and/or services sectors
