Investment Associate

Support M&A, project finance, fundraising, and financial advisory transactions across the renewable energy sector.

The opportunity

Our client is a specialist financial advisory firm focused on renewable energy and the energy transition, seeking an Investment Associate to support transaction execution, financial modelling, and investment analysis from its Paris office.

Responsibilities

• Support M&A, project finance, and fundraising transactions.
• Build financial models, valuations, and investment analyses.
• Conduct market research, financial due diligence, and sector analysis.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and transaction documentation.
• Support client engagements and coordinate with investors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor renewable energy markets and identify investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial advisory.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English; French proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, and the energy transition.
