Investment Associate

Private Equity Associate | Paris (Mid-Cap Fund)

Our client, a well-established mid-cap private equity fund based in Paris, is looking for a high-calibre Associate to join its growing investment team. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on transactions and portfolio companies.

The Role

• Support buyout transactions across the full investment lifecycle, from initial screening through to execution and exit
• Build and analyse financial models, valuations and investment cases
• Conduct company and market analysis to assess key business and investment drivers
• Coordinate commercial, financial and legal due diligence workstreams
• Prepare investment memos, investment committee materials and management presentations
• Participate in management meetings and transaction discussions alongside senior team members
• Support portfolio companies on strategic and value-creation initiatives

Your Profile

• 2-4 years of Investment Banking experience, ideally within an M&A team
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Solid transaction execution experience, with exposure to buyout transactions an advantage
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset
• Entrepreneurial approach, strong sense of ownership and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment
• Native-level French and fluency in English are mandatory
