Atrium Health Gastroenterology & Hepatology is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing Interventional Endoscopy team in the Charlotte metro area.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- One half‑day of protected administrative time weekly
Hybrid Care Model
- Approximately 2.5 days/week of virtual clinic
- Approximately 2 days/week of in‑person clinic at Morehead Medical Plaza
- Average patient volume: 12–14 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage Interventional Endoscopy referrals
- Provide pre- and post‑procedure care for patients undergoing:
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Advanced and complex endoscopic procedures
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow‑up visits
- Collaborate closely with physicians and APP colleagues in outpatient care
Your Team
You’ll join one of the largest GI programs in the region, featuring:
- 27 Gastroenterologists
- 27 Advanced Practice Providers
- Direct collaboration with:
- 4 Interventional Gastroenterologists
- 1 APP partner
- Morehead Medical Plaza office team consisting of:
- 8 Physicians
- 3 APPs
Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for licensure in North Carolina and South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Strong clinical judgment and patient‑centered approach
