Internship - Test & Prototyping (m/f/d)

Job description

ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking a Working Student / Intern – Test & Prototyping (m/f/d) to support hands‑on testing activities and prototype development for our PHOENIX missions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of non‑disruptive product and component tests.
• Assemble and prepare prototypes for validation and testing.
• Document, log, and analyze test results in a structured manner.
• Assist in improving test setups and processes over time.
• Support engineers in day‑to‑day lab and prototyping activities.

Profile required

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related technical field.
• Hands‑on mindset with strong manual / DIY skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of practical tasks.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or similar tools for documentation.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Ability to research and understand technical information.

Preferred qualifications

• First hands‑on experience in lab work, prototyping, or testing environments.
• Basic understanding of batteries or electrical systems.
• Experience with tools, workshop environments, or hardware assembly.
