Your role and missions:
During this internship, you will contribute to the development of simulation and analysis tools supporting system engineering activities for our launch vehicle.
You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities :
- Develop a debris fall-out simulation tool for launch vehicle safety analyses.
- Design and implement simulation and analysis tools for system engineering activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including mechanical, structural, GNC, and systems engineers—to integrate their inputs.
- Perform analyses and validate models using engineering data.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

- Duration: Minimum 4 months
- Location: Le Haillan, France
- Work Schedule: Full-time
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Your profile:
You are currently in the final year of an engineering program (or equivalent), specializing in one of the following fields :
- Aerospace Engineering
- Applied Mathematics
- Physics
- Astrodynamics / Orbital Mechanics
- Systems Engineering
- Scientific Computing
Required skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB , or similar scientific computing tools.
- Good understanding of physics-based modeling and numerical simulation.
- Ability to work with incomplete data and engineering assumptions.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and autonomy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred qualifications (Nice to have):
- Knowledge of launch vehicle systems.
- Experience with Monte‑Carlo simulations.
- Trajectory simulation or flight mechanics knowledge.
- Proficiency in visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, etc.).
- Knowledge of C++.
